Just some more of Roxy

A Runners high....

wooha!!!
I just got done with my Saturday morning long run and I am feeling invincible!!! I just love the rush you get from pushing yourself to the limits. I did 6.5 miles...that's HALF WAY!! I must say the first 3 or 4 miles always kicks my butt but once I get past that I feel like I could run FOREVER. I do believe that running is 20% physical and 80% mental! It is amazing how much you beat yourself up during the run, well I do at least. I am always in this constant battle with myself. One part of me is cheering me on and the other is telling me to give up, usually when that happens I speed up and run faster and harder just to prove that I can do it. I just love running. I am truly grateful for my parents and raising us in a home that felt like exercising was important. Jake and I want to make exercising apart of our kids lives as well. We actually have been thinking about one day opening up a gym. I would be able to put a spa in part of it and possibly my friend, Kim  who is a massage therapist could help run it with me. I haven't mentioned it to her yet but I plan on bringing it up. Jake has really built the same kind of passion for lifting as I have for running. He really does love working towards fitness goals and accomplishing them. It's not so much the physical part of exercise that makes me really love it, it's the mental part that makes you feel good from within. Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves and EXERCISING is our way of making us do just that :).

I have been working on Roxy's baby book and I can't believe how behind I already feel. I can't believe  she is already crawling all over the place, talking and developing her own cute little personality!! It is hard keeping track of every little milestone she hits but I am doing my best to keep up! I am sure that it will get harder keeping track the more kids we have. Speaking of kids, I can't believe how baby hungry I have been lately. If it wasn't for this half marathon in APRIL I am sure I would have to cave. I just love how close my brothers were growing up...they are 18 months apart. They literally shared the same friends growing up they were so close. I actually had a close friend of mine, Marie Bradshaw that thought for the longest time that they were twins! lol. I kind of want our next one to be a girl but really I would be happier with either. I will do my best to stay strong and wait till at least April to start trying again. Jake and I actually have some important decisions to make before our next child comes as well....he will be graduating this summer in July and BYUI is already asking what he planning on doing for is bachelors and where he wants to possibly go. Since Jake's contract for work doesn't end till next March, he will probably do online schooling somewhere for a semester and then move to whatever school it is that he ends up getting accepted to and is best for our family. To be honest I am kind of excited to see where we end up next. I really do love living here in Saint Anthony and I am sure Jake I will miss it a ton but I am also excited to see where we end up next. I know that whatever we do will be in the Lord's hands.
Well enough of the babbling for now...Grandpa Rose came up this weekend to see Gpa M.J. in the hospital since he will be getting surgery which we hope and pray everything goes well. So Jake and I are going to go down to Idaho Falls and spend time with the grandpas. I am sure Gpa Rose is gonna be in shock with how much Roxy has grown!! We did some deep cleaning last night which I always love. We tend to usually only deep clean when guests come up, we probably should do it more often but I don't know what it is that I love about cleaning and organizing things but when I get into the zone I really tend to get a little carried away...hee. Jake usually has to intervene and take me out of robot mode so I can stop and take a break lol. Jake also had to lower Roxy's crib down since she stands in it now and we are scared she is going to fall out of it.  We need to get baby gates up soon!!
